First beauty product that is!

So dirty right?! That little beauty is 8 years old!

 

Did you scrimp and save all your allowance as young teenager for that one product that set your heart ablaze but of course you couldn’t have that electric blue eye shadow because Mother and Father were just plain out not ready to have their baby wearing make-up?

 

Maybe you didn’t get into makeup until high school or college which makes it a little easier to remember your first purchase?

Let’s talk!

Oh what about me you ask?

Well, I got my first “fancy” beauty product at the ripe age of 13!

I’d always go with my mom when she’d go to buy her cosmetics at Dillards and the site of the all the products made me so happy! All the colors, the fancy lipsticks, the lipgloss, the sparkle!!

Of course I wasn’t allowed to wear makeup but on my birthday my dad took me to the Lancome counter to have my first “makeover”. When I think back that time I must of looked really silly sitting on the stool super excited! Is it totally lame I remember what the S.A. used on me? Haha.

 

She applied gold eye shadow to my lids with some brown eye liner and mascara and on my lips..the lovely Baby Doll lipgloss.

 

I felt like the coolest kid on the block with my face done up! I was all gussied up with no where to go!

Well anyway, my dad let me choose ONE thing and of course I picked the lipgloss. I was so excited to have my own gloss that I felt was seriously so amazing .

Of course I don’t use it anymore since it’s pretty old and dirty from carrying it around all of middle school. I think I beat this thing up pretty darn good!

I just cant get myself to toss it out. It means a lot to me the fact it was a birthday present and it was my first beauty product. (Maybe I’m just a hoarder.)

I even checked the Lancome website and no dice. This color/name isn’t made anymore which makes it that more special to me. There is others similar though!

What about you? Do you remember? Do you still have your first product? Or am I just crazy?
