Little Loves: Vol. 1: Urban Decay
Since Urban Decay changed the packaging I thought it would be nice to review this product. I hope you don’t mind that I am showing you the older packaging!
I received this as a sample at Sephora but never got around to trying it. I was weary that it would either: 1. Break me out. 2. Not work at all.
*Cue sad violin* De-Slick just sat there in its little box stashed away in the back of my jet max cube (more on that later) but I finally decided to try it and these are my thoughts…
*If you click the photo it will take you to the Sephora link. I don’t get paid if you buy just letting you know!
I followed the directions exactly but quickly figured out this wouldn’t be enough on its own. So, I tried it with one of my Korres primer but still had shine..
So, I tried it with Hourglass Veil, winner winner chicken dinner! Combined with Hourglass’ primer I was able to lock down oil for about 5 hours which for me is really great. Urban Decay claims it will combat oil for up to 16 hours…uh..I wish.
I also noted that I had not broken out after adding this to my face routine. Hi-5!
I love that this setting spray also helps with toning down the powdery look I can get from my setting powder and gives me a fresh final look and helps my foundation stay on without disappearing at the end of the day.
If you have oily skin you might want to consider looking into this spray and trying out the smaller version before committing. Urban Decay also has other types of sprays for different skin types as well! Its a win for everyone!

Interesting I have used the setting spray by this company and when I can afford it I re-buy it…sense I have an oily skin problem I’m an oil slick mess three hours after my first makeup application, I dont like to re-apply makeup during the day so I blot with rice paper every few hours….so do you think I should give it a try?

Yes try it!
I haven’t tried rice paper or the rice powder. I need to try it out.
I have the All-Nighter spray and I like it! I have also tried the cream version of the De-Slick (in a tube) and find it leaves a ghost-like finish on my skin >_< haha
